The Residence Inn by Marriott - Whistler's amazing slopeside location makes us an obvious choice for hikers, bikers, skiers, riders and adventure seekers from all over the world. It's also a bit of a hang-out for the local bears. Many guests leave with their own bear encounter, whether they've seen one from their suite or out on one of the hiking trails, or in the case of one family, lost a bag of unattended steaks!
This summer, we had the ULTIMATE celebrity bear siting. Calvary Christian Church from Washington State held two retreats up here this summer. While on a team scavenger hunt, everyone's favorite celebrity bear showed up for the fun.
